Katherine Boss has practiced law since 2004, focusing exclusively on Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust Administration, Probate, and Conservatorship matters.
Katherine has extensive training in dispute resolution and mediation, providing her with insight, patience, tact, and even humor when working with diverse personalities or navigating challenging family dynamics. Her blend of personal and professional experience allows her to offer sincere understanding and empathy as she counsels clients, whether preparing estate planning documents, advising families facing incapacity, or guiding them through the complexities of trust administration or probate.
Planning for family pets within trust portfolios is especially meaningful to Katherine and is always included as part of the personalized and comprehensive service she delivers in her estate planning practice.
Katherine serves as a court-appointed attorney for the Riverside County Superior Court, handling conservatorship and dementia matters. Having spent six years reviewing Conservatorships for the Probate Court as a Court Investigator, Katherine is particularly dedicated to assisting the elderly and developmentally disabled community. Her unique background is especially valuable for older clients seeking to plan ahead to avoid conservatorship and protect themselves from financial abuse.
Katherine has volunteered at the Probate Conservatorship Clinic for local legal aid services serving Murrieta and surrounding areas from 2014–2017. She was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Services in 2015 and 2016.
From 2006–2010, Katherine also served as an Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau Auto Line, arbitrating “Lemon Law” disputes, issuing decisions, and preparing formal written findings.
